SUNation Solar Systems Honored As Bronze Stevie® Award Winner in 2017 American Business Awards

Stevie winners will be presented with their awards on June 20 in New York

Ronkonkoma, NY– May 4, 2017 – SUNation Solar Systems was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award for the Energy Company of the Year in The 15th Annual American Business Awards this week.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 20. Tickets are now on sale.

More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.  SUNation Solar Systems was nominated in the Company of the Year category for Energy – Medium-sized Company.

More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.  “Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie® Awards.

This year the judges thought SUNation was among the top 30% with an above average performance in their category.  They also praised SUNation for their “great business principles reinforced by strong service values.”

“SUNation is honored to be recognized among so many distinguished companies across the U.S.  Our passion and focus is on providing the best customer service possible and that starts with our terrific team.  This award is a tribute to the strong relationships between employees and customers who make up the SUNation Solar Family,” says Scott Maskin, SUNation Solar Systems co-founder and CEO.
